Mim
was born in W.A., but raised in Darwin, Northern Territory. She has drawn and painted for as long as she can remember, and has always loved art in all it's various forms. After drawing fake tattoos all over her friends in high school, she left school at 16 in order to pursue a tattooing apprenticeship In 1994. Somewhere between 17 and 18, she got her foot in the door and began working at what was then Top End Tattoo Studio. It was a Studio that saw many artists come and go, which exposed her to many different styles. She finished her apprenticeship not long before her 20th birthday, but believes that she learns something new about tattooing and art every single day. |

After remaining
in Darwin for a while, she had the privilege of working briefly at
Whitsunday Tattooing. She returned to Darwin at the end of 1999, and resumed working at the studio that she and her business partner Blue would eventually own and run She loves every aspect of her job, the creating, the challenges, and the look on the face of a satisfied customer. Mim enjoys all styles of tattooing, but particularly enjoys big, bright, colourful custom pieces. She loves a challenge, and the process of building an original design with her customers. |
